Before there was SF, there was:

Westport, CT, where I grew up. Then, Boston for 5 years, where I studied computer science at Tufts University and violin at the New England Conservatory. Then...SF! I completed my master's in chamber music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in 2019. My music teachers along the way include Patinka Kopec, James Buswell, Lucy Chapman, and Ian Swensen. I’m also a co-founder of Hidden Fabric Music Project.

Why music?

I think the heart of making music is telling stories. Stories that can mean different things to everyone, yet share a universal truth. Stories that are deeper than anything we could put into words. Those are the kinds of stories I want to tell.

You’re a nerd.

Not a question. Here’s a question - when is the next board game night? Or, how good is my fantasy football team?

What is your typical breakfast?

Yogurt and granola, unless I’m feeling fancy. Fancy means scrambled eggs.

Who means the most to you?

Tied 1a and 1a, my parents. They are the two most loving, generous, thoughtful, kind people in the world, and taught me how to lead a happy and healthy life, full of friendship, warmth, and direction. I will always cherish their advice, and they are never wrong. Especially when I think they’re going to be.

How would your siblings describe you?

Peacekeeper, with a healthy dash of sarcasm.
